Juanita Stevenson

Juanita Stevenson is best known to Valley residents as a veteran reporter and news anchor with local television station ABC30 for 23 years and founder of Valley Works, an independent newsmaker of original stories about the Valley's economy. Juanita has dedicated her professional career in broadcast journalism to reporting to the public about the importance of education, beginning with the first five years. As the creative lead for Education Matters, she has made sure the good news of education is shared with the public. She received an Emmy nomination for her Education Matters reporting in 2015. Juanita, a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, is also the recipient of the 2001 Associated Press Award for Best Reporting and the 1997 Radio & Television News Directors Association Regional Edward R. Juanita Stevenson Murrow award for Best Reporting.
