Superintendent Yovino was thrilled to accept a $25,000 check on behalf of Fresno County students at the CIF tournament held earlier this month. Fresno Coin Gallery, a long-standing and valued business partner of the Fresno County Office of Education, once again gave their philanthropic support to help bolster the educational opportunities for Fresno County students. Over the years their generous gifts totaling $338, 296, have sponsored many of the pivotal student events in the County including the Academic Decathlon, History Day, CIF high school boys and girls Central Section Finals, arts programs, and many more. Business involvement in schools is vital to student success, and there are so many ways to make a difference from sponsoring academic events to mentoring students. “We invite local businesses to join us in becoming actively involved in Fresno County schools. Please visit www.fcoefoundation.org to find out more or even give me a phone call to discuss our experience with The Foundation @ FCOE. Together, we can change lives one future at a time,” said Fresno Coin Gallery owner Steven Foster. This business-education partnership with Fresno Coin Gallery is a great example of what a local business can do to make a difference.
