Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Contest Series

The Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Contest Series featured the outstanding talents of Fresno County students in the categories of art, speech, and essay.

The annual theme of the competition series is selected by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Committee of the City of Fresno and this year, the Committee celebrated 40 years of sharing Dr. King's vision for peace and unity.  This year's theme was Forty Years Later: Reflecting on the Past, Pursuing a Future of Inclusivity and Solidarity. The Best of Show for the Art Competition was awarded to Isabella Avery of Clovis High. For a complete list of 2024 contest winners click here.
