The Fresno County Youth Choir (FCYC) showcases talented singers from all school districts and colleges in Fresno County. The group's mission is to create multicultural unity through music that fills the heart, lifts the soul and changes lives. Donald Munro, Fresno Bee critic, calls the FCYC, “jubilant,” “stirring,” and “brimming with talent.” He adds that, “I was smitten with the vigor and power of it all -- a reminder that when human voices are united in song, just about anything seems possible.”
Each summer, the FCYC performs an inspirational concert, in conjunction with a tour and community outreach project. As Fresno County’s “Musical Ambassadors,” the group has been featured in an hour long special on KVPT and in an international exchange with the Gymnasium Paulinem Choir of Munster, Germany.
