Gabriel Dillard is managing editor of The Business Journal, a weekly newspaper and 24-7 digital news operation based in Downtown Fresno. He manages an award-winning newsroom that covers Fresno, Kings, Madera and Tulare counties. Dillard was born in Fresno, attending Easterby Elementary School before moving to Selma, where he graduated from high school in 1999 and lives today. He is a 2003 graduate of Fresno State’s journalism department and a member of the inaugural class of the Smittcamp Family Honors College. Before joining The Business Journal in 2006, he worked for The Selma Enterprise weekly newspaper as a city hall/general assignment reporter. He’s married to his high school sweetheart Elena and has two children, Oliver and Luna.
