Dr. Masumoto currently serves on the Fresno County Board of Education following six years as a Trustee for Sanger Unified School District. With a focus on improving the quality of life for students and citizens, she has professionally worked in Fresno County for over forty years in numerous leadership capacities in public education and nonprofit organizations. With her husband and two adult children, she owns and operates Masumoto Family Farm, producers of organic stone fruit and raisin grapes in Del Rey. She is also active in the Cultural Arts Rotary Club of Fresno and many other local and statewide organizations. Dr. Masumoto has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health (Loma Linda University), a master’s degree in Community Development (UC Davis) and a doctorate in Education (UCD/Fresno State).
