(202) Artistic Intelligence Project

Over the past year, Big Creek School has transformed an empty space into a vibrant art studio, a place where students can immerse themselves in painting, drawing, and ceramics. Through the Artistic Intelligence project, the school is taking its fine arts program to the next level with the addition of a fully equipped pottery studio for slab art, sculpting, and ceramic wheel work.

This creative hub will welcome preschool through eighth grade students during the school day, providing hands-on opportunities to explore and grow their artistic skills. In the after-school hours, high school students in grades nine through twelve will have full access to the studio, ensuring that creativity thrives across all ages. More than just a classroom, this new space is a community resource — a place where imagination takes shape and the joy of creating something by hand becomes part of everyday life at Big Creek School.
