Career Tech Expo

The FCSS CTE Expo at Chukchansi Park was filled with energy and excitement, welcoming more than 2,000 students for a day of hands-on learning, career exploration, and engagement with industry partners. The event provided students with an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and explore the many career pathways available to them through interactive experiences and direct connections with professionals.

Throughout the Expo, students had the opportunity to learn about a variety of industries, participate in interactive demonstrations, and engage with representatives who shared their knowledge, experience, and insights into today's workforce. These conversations offered a closer look at the skills, education, and training needed to pursue careers in fields that are shaping our communities and economy. By bringing education and industry together, the CTE Expo helps students make connections between what they are learning in the classroom and how those skills translate into real-world opportunities.

Whether discovering a new area of interest or gaining a better understanding of a career they are already considering, students were encouraged to ask questions, explore possibilities, and envision what their futures could hold.

Events like the CTE Expo reinforce the importance of providing students with early exposure to career and technical education and opportunities to connect learning with practical application. Through these experiences, students can begin identifying their interests, recognizing their strengths, and taking steps toward future education and career goals.

The CTE Expo is sponsored in part by PG&E, Chevron, and our partners at High Speek Rail Authority.
