Developing Future Engineers and Innovators

The Developing Future Engineers and Innovators project has brought new STEAMe learning resources to elementary school students, offering hands-on experiences to explore science concepts such as balance, motion, and engineering. Kindergarten and first-grade students especially enjoy the Logic Puzzle boards, where they use motion blocks to code friction cars, strengthening sequencing and problem-solving skills.

Building sets like Tinker Toys and Gears! Gears! Gears! deepen understanding of cause-and-effect and engineering principles through creative play.  This project fosters a growth mindset and encourages students to apply their learning across subjects. As the STEAMe program expands to three elementary schools, it continues to empower students to become confident innovators and problem-solvers.
