Enhancing PE with Badminton and Spike Ball

This project aimed to enhance physical education by introducing CTEC Highs School students to badminton and spike ball, fostering teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and overall physical fitness. While both sports were well-received, badminton emerged as the favorite, with students quickly grasping the fundamentals and demonstrating enthusiasm for the game.

Spike ball presented a slightly steeper learning curve, but students still engaged positively with the challenge. The project successfully broadened students' exposure to different sports, improved their motor skills, and promoted active participation in physical education. Students showed increased confidence in their athletic abilities and developed a greater appreciation for the strategic elements of both badminton and spike ball.
