Students also helped feed, clean pens, collect eggs, clean and sanitize the eggs, and deliver the dozens of eggs to local teachers and school officials. A few students planned on having their own layer project where they could generate revenue from selling eggs. This was a great real-life, hands-on experience that allowed them to gain leadership skills and self-confidence.
