They also researched, designed, and made a prototype/model of an innovative solution to an issue for people with mobility concerns and they presented their project to a panel of judges. Grant funds made it possible to send two teams to the competition this year, with one of the teams advancing to the championships. Students developed skills in communication, presentation, research, design, engineering, teamwork, and coding.
