Grant Awarded to Alice M. Worsley School

Cultural Arts Rotary Foundation awards Worsley School with a grant for recreational reading books that will help motivate students to read outside of the classroom, strengthening their reading skills. Worsley school serves students who are in custody of the juvenile court system.

Resources are currently limited for students to have access to books that they can read outside of the instructional day. The goal of this project is to create a reading culture that will improve literacy rates among this student population for lifelong learning and success.
