Health Youth Corps Showcase
The Health Youth Corps Showcase made it clear: when students are given the knowledge, tools, and support to explore public health through their own lens, they don’t just imagine a better future—they build it. This generation of young leaders is already making an impact, and their work reminds us that youth-led innovation is not only powerful, but essential to the health of our communities.
Beyond the presentations and displays, what stood out most was the genuine collaboration and problem-solving mindset each team demonstrated. Students proposed sustainable solutions, such as partnerships with local food vendors, mobile resource guides, and long-term awareness campaigns tailored for schools and neighborhoods. Their work reflected a deep commitment not just to identifying problems, but to building practical, community-centered solutions that could grow beyond the classroom. A complete list of participating schools and their research topic is provided below.
The Health Youth Corps Showcase was proudly sponsored by Anthem, CalViva Health, and Prodigy Healthcare, Inc. Their support made this event, and the youth-driven impact it sparked, possible.
