History Day

History Day, hosted at Fresno Pacific University, provided students with a dynamic opportunity to dive deeply into historical topics of their choice and bring their learning to life. Through extensive research and analysis, students explored significant events, individuals, and movements, developing a deeper understanding of how history shapes the world around us.

Participants presented their work across a variety of formats—including papers, podcasts, documentaries, performances, websites, exhibits, and posters—allowing them to showcase their creativity while strengthening critical thinking, communication, and research skills. Each project reflected not only academic rigor but also the students’ ability to interpret and connect their findings in meaningful ways.

The event created a vibrant space for students to share their work with peers, educators, and community members, gaining valuable feedback and recognition for their efforts. Top-performing students will advance to state and national competitions, where their projects will be evaluated by professional historians and educators, further elevating their work and expanding their opportunities for academic growth and achievement.
