Making Art Come to Life with MakeyMakey Guitar
With advancements in educational technology, students at Raisin City Elementary explored creativity and critical thinking through STEM MakeyMakey kits.
These innovative tools allowed them to integrate simple circuits into their artwork, transforming static pieces into interactive, moving creations. Students even hosted a circuit-art gallery, where their artwork came to life—demonstrating motion, light, and sound through their designs. The goal of the project was to introduce students to the world of electronics and inspire them to imagine how their art could become dynamic, much like scenes in a movie. By combining art and technology, the project opened new pathways for self-expression and innovative thinking.
