The project raised the standard for acquiring high interest reading material to support learning at every level for students who love graphic novels and/or manga. The newly added manga titles made a dramatic impact in circulation numbers resulting in increased student engagement reading various forms of literature. The goal of Manga Matters was to foster interest for traditional printed books and to create lifelong readers.
