Pockettalks are handheld translators that allow for real-time voice translation and image translation, and helps students practice pronunciation. Students quickly mastered the use of the translators and used it for written word, signs, anchor charts, conversations and so much more. The independence the translators offered to students became obvious as they began writing and speaking more frequently in English with their peers and the staff.
