The goal of the Outdoor Adventure Elective project was to foster awareness and safety for the surrounding environment using the skills learned in the eight-week course.  Students explored the outdoors by hiking, biking, and backpacking while learning how to use a compass properly and read a map. Students also learned how to make a proper shelter for various weather conditions.
