The Positivity Project served as a cultural strategy focused on building character strengths in both students and staff, with the goal of improving attendance, behavior, and school connectedness. Foothill Elementary saw steady gains in student engagement, with overall attendance increasing by nearly 1% from the 2024–25 to the 2025–26 school year. In addition, chronic absenteeism decreased by 1.69% during the same period.
