Raised Bed Flower Garden

Students at Pacific Union Elementary School created a Raised Bed Flower Garden to provide a hands-on, engaging learning experience. Through each stage, from planting seeds to watching flowers bloom, students explored the full plant life cycle while building key skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and observation.

The project supported learning across subjects, including science, math, and language arts. Students practiced fine motor skills and sensory awareness through digging, planting, and watering, while also expanding their vocabulary and measuring plant growth. The garden became a living classroom that encouraged curiosity, environmental stewardship, and a deeper connection to nature.
