Due to the abrupt end of the school year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, expansion of the project was cut short. In an effort to learn more about the programming and use of the 3D printer, Mr. Showalter learned to print over 200 multiple surgical mask extenders. These mask extenders are used by medical professionals to ease the fatigue due to wearing surgical mask for long periods of time.
