The Kimochi's curriculum was implemented to help students identify their feelings. This curriculum comes with stuffed animals that help children identify and learn about expressing their feelings. Reading books incorporate the stuffed animals for children to hold and play with during lessons. The Kimochis help with facial expressions, body language, actions and word choice. They constructively teach children how to recognize emotions that are negative and positive. Strategies built into the curriculum allow role play to help children practice how to understand their feelings and how to facilitate proper actions in emotional situations.
