The Fresno County Mock Trial Competition will be held this month! This is an intriguing competition that helps high school students foster an understanding, respect, and appreciation for the legal system and for the rule of law. The competition takes a real-life civil or criminal trial and students fill the various roles of the case. Through this process, students develop into good citizens by familiarizing them with the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The competition enhances critical thinking, builds communication skills, and develops a team player mentality with their peers and community members.
