The program further enhanced the overall educational programs for students and staff of Riverdale Unified School District by providing real-world equipment and training. The equipment developed skills that students could use to leverage jobs within existing industry or venture off onto their own entrepreneurial paths. Providing students with journalism tools such as cameras, recorders and computers will give them the chance to vastly improve their own skills, gain experience and boost their self-confidence.
