Students have opportunities to earn "Owl" bucks by following school expectations and making the best choices while on campus.

Family Literacy Night

Burrel Elementary School hosted an exciting and engaging Family Literacy Night. The event was an excellent opportunity for students and their families to come together and participate in a range of literacy-based activities. Thinking in the Classroom

To cultivate the valuable skill of problem solving with mathematics, students at Washington Colony participated in the “Thinking Classroom” techniques described in Peter Liljedahl's work on the subject. To implement one of the key components to Liljedahl’s techniques, a classroom set of vertical writing surfaces was purchased.
